dodoblog: Blenheim Ginger Ale

dodoblog: Blenheim Ginger Ale: "Oh this is so incredibly delicious.

It stings, it burns and it uplifts.

Brewed in South Carolina since 1903,

it's a classic true to its roots.

I praise the blessed land
that also brought us James Brown.

Blenheim Old #3 Hot for me, baby!"
...Now that's some great prose! Cheers!

Blenheim Ginger Ale from Pure Water (?)

Blenheim Ginger Ale on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

Does anyone notice something different lately on their Blenheim Ginger Ale bottles? it doesn't refer to spring water now, it says 'pure water'. I think maybe last year or 2006, they switched to Dillon's water supply. I don't know the reasons, but it severs Blenheim from its roots in a very real way.
